Job summary

All’s WELL, Inc. is seeking a DSP Intern to learn the responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional under supervision for up to three months at a 30-hour-per-week schedule. The role focuses on empowering participants, effective communication, and facilitating community supports.

You will receive paid training and play a key part in helping individuals live their best lives. Pay ranges from $16.90 to $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) or a Certificate of Completion.
• Must have a valid Identification Card or Driver's License.
• Must pass a background check and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Learn about the DSP role and perform entry-level duties under a qualified DSP for up to three months and up to 30 hours per week.
• Assist with participant empowerment, communication, community involvement and supports.
• Support daily living skills, education, training and self-development, advocacy and health and wellness.
• Document activities and participate in trainings and professional development.
