Job summary

The Republic Services Technician Apprenticeship program recruits aspiring Technicians for a two-year, paid training path across our national network. Trainees begin with nine weeks of paid instruction at the Republic Services Technical Institute in Dallas, TX, then complete twenty-two months of on-the-job training as an Apprentice to gain certification.

Graduates are placed in one of our U.S. business units, with a defined path to a Level C Technician, mentorship, and ongoing career development

Qualifications

• We will provide technical training to succeed in the two-year program.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform routine preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
• Develop skills in electrical diagnosis, air systems, hydraulics, and wheel end inspection.
• Receive mentorship and complete on-the-job training toward Apprentice certification and advancement.
