Republic Services is offering a Technician Apprenticeship for aspiring technicians across the United States. The program combines nine weeks of paid training in Dallas with twenty-two months of hands-on, mentored work to earn Apprentice certification as a diesel mechanic.

Qualifications

• Two-year Technician Apprenticeship program with nine weeks of paid training in Dallas, TX.
• Willingness to travel to Dallas for in-person training.
• Logical problem solver with interest in engineering and technology.
• Flexibility to work nights/weekends/holidays.
• Commitment to safety, ethics and Republic Services values.

Responsibilities

• Learn and diagnose electrical, air, hydrostatic systems through hands-on training.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance under supervision.
• Complete 22 months of on-the-job training toward Apprentice certification.
• Progress to Level C Technician upon milestones and training milestones.
