Job summary

Republic Services is recruiting for a Technician Apprentice who will train for two years across the United States, starting with nine weeks of paid training at the Republic Services Technical Institute in Dallas, Texas.

Apprentices gain hands-on experience while completing their education, with mentorship and on-the-job training toward Apprentice certification as a Republic Services entry level Diesel Mechanic, with possible Level C advancement and full‑time opportunities upon graduation.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing this two-year program.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights/weekends or holidays.
• Must be willing to travel to and live in Dallas, Texas for 9 weeks of in-person training.
