Job summary

NVR, Inc. invites highly motivated students to join their Construction Management Internship for a 12-week paid program in Columbus, OH.

The role provides hands-on experience across project management, field operations, and customer relations within the homebuilding industry. Interns shadow experienced project managers, interact with customers, and gain exposure to sales, land research, manufacturing operations, and mortgage banking.

Qualifications

• Highly driven with leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and business partners.
• Currently enrolled in a college degree program, and preferably scheduled to graduate within 12 months of the internship.
• Current Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist an experienced Project Manager in the field.
• Work directly with on-site subcontractors.
• Interact with customers building their new home.
• Spend time in Sales & Marketing to understand the new home sales life cycle.
• Learn Land Research to forecast and prepare for future homebuilding activity in a growing metropolitan area.
• Get a glimpse into Building Products through a tour of production plant and design offices.
• Exposure to Mortgage Banking and home loan financing processes.
