Responsibilities

• Process submittals by reviewing, filing and distributing.
• Send RFIs to architects and engineers.
• Keep logs for concrete, rebar, RFIs and plans up to date.
• Resolve issues arising from plans and specifications.
• Establish control points using field instruments.
• Locate embeds in slabs and verify locations.
• Assist in locating openings and vertical control for the structure.
• Document updates to drawings, specs, shop drawings and samples.
• Assist with quality control inspections using specific software.
• Verify pre-pour checklists and formwork installation.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings and take minutes.
• Support project orientation and maintenance logs.
• Help maintain look-ahead schedules and trade coordination.
• Verify construction techniques per plans and raise issues.
• Maintain city inspection records and accompany supervisor during inspections.
• Other duties as assigned by PM or Superintendent.
