Job summary

Cash Construction Company, Inc. is seeking Construction Operations Interns for Fall 2026 to support the operations team with project management, procedure development, quality, and special projects.

This onsite internship provides practical experience applying classroom learnings in a professional setting in the Austin area. You will learn to assist with scheduling, reporting, and safety practices, while collaborating with managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s in project/construction management or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise execution.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform project management functions of estimating, schedule planning, project controls, project reporting.
• Work under close supervision to complete special projects as assigned.
• Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Cash Construction’s Zero Injury principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise execution.
• Basic computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigation
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage numerous assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• High attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications
