Progressive Companies is offering a paid Civil Engineering Intern summer program in Kentucky. You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to prepare design documents for site plans, utilities, road design, and traffic studies using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.

Qualifications

Enrollment in an ABET-accredited Civil or Environmental Engineering bachelor’s program.
At least one year of undergraduate studies completed by Summer 2027.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Project, SharePoint and Teams preferred.
Knowledge of sustainability trends in the design/construction industry.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the project team to help meet project schedules and budgets.
Manage multiple projects in a timely, accurate manner, monitoring progress against project scope and resources.
Provide drafting services and final engineering documents per Progressive’s standards.
Assist in preparing calculations and analyses for storm water, sewer, water, roadways, and traffic studies.
Prepare Construction Permitting documents.
Compile crash data at intersections and prepare collision diagrams.
