Job summary

EXP is seeking a Site Civil Intern to support the Site Civil team with diversified civil engineering tasks on development projects, including water, sewer, grading, drainage, site planning, and environmental protection concepts.

You will learn and perform under supervision, contributing to plan drawings, calculations, specifications, and permit applications while developing professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, or Environmental Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD programs to assist in the preparation of plan drawings and details.
• Perform calculations under the direction of a licensed engineer.
• Assist with preparation of technical specifications and reports.
• Prepare due diligence searches and permit applications.
• Perform material quantity take-offs.
• Assist project teams in meeting deadlines as needed.
