Job summary

Arclabs Welding School is seeking a Career and Student Services Intern to support the Career and Student Services Coordinator in helping students progress toward completion, career readiness, and training-related employment.

The internship provides structured supervision, exposure to student services, employer relations, and ACCET compliance practices, with a paid hourly rate and defined learning objectives aligned to the program's mission.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, an associate or bachelor’s degree program is preferred.
• Prior internship, customer service, administrative, recruiting, education, student‑services, or workforce‑development experience is helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with students, graduates, instructors, employers, and staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity tools; ability to learn the student information system and other career‑services systems.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist the Career and Student Services Coordinator with scheduled student check‑ins to learn program completion requirements.
• Assist with approved outreach to students who are absent from class using established scripts and procedures.
• Help schedule and document student meetings at designated intervals and refer concerns to staff.
