Job summary

The Brooklyn Museum’s Office of Planning and Architecture seeks an intern for institutional architecture and capital projects to assist with three ongoing projects and department initiatives. You will attend meetings, compile documents, track progress, review submittals, coordinate with other departments, and work in the museum’s archives.

Intern seminars occur every other Tuesday starting February 2, 2026, from 9:30am-12:30pm.

Qualifications

• Paid internships are for undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates, and adults 21+ who aren’t enrolled in higher education.
• PhD candidates are not eligible.
• All applicants should have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Rhino.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings and participate in planning discussions.
• Compile project documents and track ongoing work.
• Review submittals and coordinate with other departments.
• Work in the Brooklyn Museum archive and related activities.
