Job summary

The Brooklyn Museum's Office of Planning and Architecture is seeking an intern with an interest in institutional architecture and capital projects. The role involves attending meetings, compiling documents, tracking ongoing work, reviewing submittals, and coordinating with other departments, plus duties in the archives.

Intern seminars are required every other Tuesday starting February 2, 2026, 9:30am–12:30pm.

Qualifications

• Paid internships are for undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates, and adults 21+ who aren’t enrolled in higher education. PhD candidates are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings.
• Compile project documents and track ongoing work.
• Review submittals and coordinate with other departments.
• Work in the archive and support department initiatives.
• Assist with capital projects currently underway in the Brooklyn Museum building.
