HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Coord Rehab PAI to support IRF-PAI data completion and scoring accuracy for the inpatient rehabilitation patient population. You will coordinate timely data collection, provide clinical support for accuracy of functional status reflections, and help monitor posted benchmarks while maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The PAI Coordinator provides coordination for timely and accurate completion of the IRF Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI). This individual provides clinical support in completion of data contained in the IRF-PAI to ensure accuracy in the scoring of functional status and reflection of the patient’s care needs. In addition, this position assists in the ongoing monitoring of identified benchmarks for the inpatient rehab population. The PAI Coordinator will have access to confidential patient information and maintains confidentiality of all information.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree or higher (depending on license held)
• Must have one of the following FL state licenses:
  • Registered Nurse
  • Occupational Therapist
  • Physical Therapist
  • Speech-Language Pathologist

Required Certifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 30 days of employment
• Functional Independence Measure (FIM) required within 90 days of employment
