Primmed Pain Specialists in PAHRUMP is seeking a Hybrid Medical Assistant (front & back office) to support clinical care and clinic operations in a fast-paced pain management practice. You will handle rooming, vitals, injections, IVs, EMR entries, and compliance while coordinating with physicians and anesthesiology teams.

CMA or RMA certification and BLS/CPR are required; strong HIPAA/OSHA knowledge, 2–3 years MA experience, and 40+ WPM typing preferred.

Qualifications

• CMA or RMA certification required.
• Active BLS/CPR certification.
• IV placement training or certification.
• 2–3+ years Medical Assistant experience.
• 1–2+ years procedural or pain management experience preferred.
• Strong EMR experience and fast typing (40+ WPM).
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Bring patients into rooms and prepare them for visits.
• Take vitals, history, and reason for visit with accuracy and speed.
• Perform injections, UDS, and routine clinical testing.
• Maintain clean, compliant, and fully documented patient charts.
• Assist providers during examinations and urgent needs.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards are followed.
• Prepare patients for procedures and structured intake.
• Start and manage IV access using sterile technique.
• Monitor patients during procedures and recovery.
• Work with physicians and anesthesiology teams in real time.
• Discharge, IV removal, and patient instructions.
• Pre-procedure reminders and post-procedure follow-ups.
• Coordinate smooth patient transport and flow.
• Answer and document patient calls with accuracy and urgency.
• Process prescription refills per protocol.
• Support prior authorizations and appointment scheduling.
• Maintain organized and efficient clinic flow.

You will be a key player in both clinical care and clinic operations, supporting providers, patients, and procedures from start to finish.

Clinical & Back Office

• Bring patients into rooms and prepare them for visits

WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY
