Primmed Pain Specialists in Pahrump, NV seeks a Hybrid Medical Assistant (front & back office) to support pain management. You will move between patient care, procedures, and clinic operations to keep the schedule running smoothly from intake through discharge.

The role rewards speed and accuracy in a busy setting and requires strict attention to HIPAA, OSHA, and medical-legal details. You will take vitals, assist with procedures, manage IVs, and coordinate with physicians and anesthesiology

Responsibilities

• Bring patients into rooms and prepare them for visits.
• Take vitals, history, and reason for visit with accuracy and speed.
• Perform injections, UDS, and routine clinical testing.
• Maintain clean, compliant, and fully documented patient charts.
• Assist providers during examinations and urgent needs.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards are followed.
• Prepare patients for procedures and complete structured intake.
• Start and manage IV access using sterile technique.
• Monitor patients during procedures and recovery.
• Work closely with physicians and anesthesiology teams in real time.
• Assist with discharge, IV removal, and patient instructions.
• Make pre-procedure reminder calls and post-procedure follow-ups.
