Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a compassionate and organized medical assistant to support a busy interventional pain practice. You will greet patients, prep exam rooms, document vitals, and assist providers while helping maintain smooth patient flow and a positive experience.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with EMR systems; certification or diploma from an accredited MA program is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and help ensure a welcoming, efficient clinical experience.

  • Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and medication information as directed.
  • Support providers with clinical and procedural tasks within scope of practice.
  • Assist with patient education, instructions, and follow-up coordination.
  • Manage telephone calls, messages, scheduling support, and patient communication.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Coordinate supplies, equipment, and inventory needs for daily clinic operations.
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and privacy procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other team members.

Job description

In this role, you will help create a positive patient experience while assisting the clinical team with daily operations, patient flow, and administrative support. Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with procedure-based clinical environments
  • Experience supporting patient scheduling and follow-up coordination
