Job summary

Arizona Pain is seeking a proactive Medical Assistant to support Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants by preparing patients, documenting visits, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic flow.

The role involves drawing blood, checking vitals, giving IM injections, and managing routine clinical tasks in a busy pain management clinic.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our busy pain management clinic. As a vital member of our care team, you'll support Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants by preparing patients, documenting visits, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic flow.

You'll record and update medical histories, schedule appointments, and perform routine clinical tasks such as drawing blood, checking vitals, and giving IM injections.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completed an accredited Medical Assistant certificate program.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
