Job summary

Merck is seeking a Rare Disease Account Specialist focused on Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, a field-based role covering the Colorado territory. You will manage key accounts, engage care teams, and coordinate with HQ to support patient access and education.

You will build strategic account plans, develop stakeholder networks, and ensure compliant interactions across care teams. Travel and field presence are required to drive formulary access and provider engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharma sales or account management preferred.
• Strong understanding of PAH disease and payer dynamics.
• Ability to travel ~25% and work across multiple centers.

Responsibilities

• Account Management: Own customer experience in target accounts, build relationships with providers and staff, act as cross-functional contact.
• Care Team Engagement: Provide approved disease/product information to care teams, educate providers on administration and patient access.
• Ecosystem Management: Plan and support medical education events, attend congresses, build provider-provider networks, coordinate HQ events.
