Job summary

Eaton in Nacogdoches, TX is seeking a Pads Transformer Assembler on 1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.). The role involves assembling transformer components, loading vacuum systems, and performing repetitive hand assembly tasks.

You will work across centers, use power tools, assist welders, ensure safety protocols, and help maintain production rates while upholding 5S+ standards and Eaton values.

Qualifications

• Residence within 50 miles of Nacogdoches facility; relocation benefits not offered.
• No immigration sponsorship for this position; CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or visa support not provided.
• Preferred: prior manufacturing experience; ability to operate industrial equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks across multiple work centers including tank breakdown and final assembly.
• Attach components onto transformer tanks and sub-assemblies.
• Load, operate, and unload the vacuum system.
• Place and anchor core/coil assemblies into tanks.
• Execute repetitive hand assembly, fitting, and adjustment.
• Use small power hand tools as required.
• Assist welders with hood and seal installation.
• Address nonconforming parts through rework.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and hoisting equipment.
• Participate in problem solving to improve efficiency and quality.
• Maintain target production rates and safety protocols.
