• Physical ability to perform heavy work, up to 50lbs occasionally and 20lbs frequently.
• Comfortable working in extreme heat and cold.

Responsibilities

• Repair 1 phase padmount transformers.
• Estimate repair costs of 1 phase padmount transformers.
• Scrap unrepairable units and pull shop cards.
• Read and comprehend customer specifications. Complete warranty and report analysis.
• Perform quality check on units before they leave the department.
• Use basic math to calculate amps and ratios of transformers.
• Meet repair and defect goals set by supervisor.
• Responsible for all shop equipment and tools in workstation.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
• Operate forklift, overhead crane and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Work as a team with fellow associates to accomplish objectives.
