Job summary

Emerald Transformer is seeking a Field Service Technician to test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair transformers and related power distribution equipment at customer locations. This hands‑on role involves work with high, medium, and low voltage systems and requires frequent travel, including overnight stays and overtime when necessary.

The ideal candidate is safety‑focused, mechanically inclined, dependable, and committed to quality service and professional customer interactions with customers

Qualifications

• Experience testing, maintaining, or repairing transformers or related electrical distribution equipment.
• Ability to read manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and tests.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Test and repair transformers and related power equipment at customer sites.
• Read manuals and interpret diagrams; document results.
• Travel across service territory, including overnight stays.
• Operate safety procedures and PPE, and document test results.
