Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division seeks a Transformer Repair Technician for 1st shift in the Waukesha area. The role involves diagnosing transformer failures, performing hands-on repair, teardown, and testing to ensure quality and reliability.

Overtime may be required, with a shift from 5am to 1pm and a base hourly rate of $29.35–$31.11. Benefits include health, vacation, paid holidays, weekly pay, shift premiums, and opportunities for career progression and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, assembling, or troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical equipment.
• No immigration sponsorship; must reside within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose transformer failures and determine root causes; repair, rebuild, and improve products.
• Troubleshoot hands-on with mechanical and electrical systems; drive quality improvements.
• Perform teardown, inspection, and repair on transformers from production or field.
• Document repairs, investigations, and status updates; assist cross-functional teams.
