Patterson-UTI Drilling Company, LLC seeks a Pad Foreman to oversee fabrication unit installation on designated drilling pads. You will supervise rig-up and rig-down activities, ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with crew, third parties, and crane operators.

The role requires leading daily schedules, mentoring new hires, and enforcing safety procedures while aligning with project timelines.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of experience in Rig Construction or on Land Drilling rigs.
• 1+ year in a leadership or mentorship role.
• Ability to read and execute rig-up and rig-down instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew members have appropriate tools and supplies for rig up and rig down.
• Prepares and monitors pad crew work schedule for shift coverage and timelines.
• Plans and coordinates job procedures with pad crewmembers.
• Supervise rig-up and rig-down activities ensuring safety, quality and compliance with drawings.
• Lead pre- and post-tour meetings to coordinate tasks and hazards.
• Provide training and daily guidance to Pad Crew; ensure ITPs and safety checklists are signed.
