Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN PACU for a 13-week assignment in Hartford, CT. The PACU RN will provide post-anesthesia care, monitor patients waking from anesthesia, and coordinate transitions to discharge or the floor.

Requirements include an active RN license, degree from accredited program, BLS and ACLS, and 18 months PACU experience. Weekly pay, housing options, and great benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia, including general, regional, and local. Treats inpatients and outpatients according to their needs.
• Administer diligent care via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.
