Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The RN will be responsible for caring for postoperative patients as they recover from anesthesia in a fast-paced PACU environment. Requirements include ACLS and BLS certifications and 2 years of acute care experience.

Travel assignments are 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, 10-hour days. Eligible candidates will be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds when

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• 2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
