Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the PACU team at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. You will assist with daily patient care, document vital signs in the EMR, and help with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.

Requirement includes GED/HSED or high school diploma and BLS within 45 days, plus Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry. This role is full-time, on-site, with 40 hours weekly and 4 ten-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, ambulation).
• Document vitals, intake/output, and weights in EMR.
• Support admissions, transfers and discharges with room setup.
• Perform patient positioning and safe transfers as directed.
• Coordinate nutrition and skin care tasks as assigned.
