Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a capable administrative professional for the Med Surg unit at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. The role is full-time, 32 hours per week, with days and evenings shifts on a rotating basis, including weekends and holidays.

You will coordinate tests and treatments, handle communications, manage EMR documentation, and ensure accurate patient records and registrations while maintaining a patient-centered, service-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSED required.
• No experience required.
• Strong computer and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tests and treatments across departments to schedule tests and treatments.
• Facilitate communications for patient care using multi-line phones, paging and hospital information system; screen calls.
• Use EMR and hospital systems to order supplies and process charges.
