Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, MI seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in PACU - Post Anesthesia Care to join its Patient Care Services team. This ongoing staff role offers a path to professional growth within a supportive environment. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 based on experience.

The RN will lead nursing care for a patient group, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and participate in discharge planning and quality initiatives across the hospital's care sites.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• RN licensure in Michigan required (state).
• AHA BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.
• Reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision-making.

Formation

BSN preferred
