Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to lead immediate post-operative patient care and support the surgical and anesthesia teams. This role includes airway management, close monitoring, and rapid response to complications.

You will provide wound care, document patient changes, and educate families about conditions and follow-up. On-call duties may apply during select non-business hours, with scheduling posted in advance.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• BCLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• RN license must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• RN (Registered Nurse) license must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in post-anesthesia recovery
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status and respond to complications
• Provide initial wound care and ensure patient stability during recovery
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to support care plans
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and follow-up measures
