Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Charleston, SC is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care after surgery. You will work with the surgical and anesthesia teams to monitor patients and respond to complications.

This role requires ACLS, BLS, PALS within 90 days, RN licensure, and an Associate Degree; on-call expectations and a collaborative culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date
• BLS within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS within 90 days of employment start date
• RN licensure within 90 days of employment start date
• Associate degree in nursing required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered postoperative care in PACU
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status; respond to complications
• Provide initial wound care and ensure patient stability during recovery
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to optimize outcomes
• Be available on-call during select non-business hours
