Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Recovery Room (PACU) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a same-day surgery setting.

The RN will monitor recovery, administer meds, maintain documentation, and support efficient patient flow in a fast-paced ambulatory environment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, collaboration with physicians, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care for post-operative patients.
• Monitor and document patients' physical and mental status during recovery.
• Report symptoms, reactions, and condition changes to healthcare providers.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Ensure medication administration follows established protocols and document all meds.
• Discharge post-operative patients according to policies.
