South Texas Spine Hospital is seeking aRegistered Nurse for the Recovery Room (PACU) to deliver comprehensive post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. You will monitor patient status, administer medications, and ensure careful documentation while coordinating with surgeons and healthcare teams.

Applicants should hold an RN license, with BLS and ACLS certifications, and have a strong background in post-operative assessments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with post-operative recovery and PACU workflows.

Responsabilités

• Monitor patient recovery in a same-day surgery setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care.
• Verify physician orders prior to medication administration.
• Discharge patients per policy and coordinate with care teams.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
