Job summary

Medical City Alliance in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit on a PRN seasonal basis. The role involves assessing patients on admission and during shifts, administering medications, and documenting care in the medical record.

You will collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The seasonal program runs Sept 20, 2026 to Apr 3, 2027 and requires a minimum of 72 hours per pay period, with occasional float to nearby facilities

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years.
• Two years’ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identify changes and report promptly.
• Administer medications and document care in medical records; monitor therapeutic response.
• Provide prompt, compassionate patient care and respond to requests.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up, translating medical terms as needed.
