Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a PACU RN in Jersey City, NJ to provide post-operative care, monitor vitals, and manage medications. You will collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe transitions from operating room to PACU and discharge home.

At least an ADN, active RN license, and 1 year PACU/ICU experience are preferred. BLS/ACLS certification and EMR proficiency are required. Competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year PACU/ICU experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certified by American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care and monitor vitals for diverse surgical patients.
• Administer prescribed meds and follow care plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams for patient transitions from OR to PACU and discharge.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain/wound management, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation per hospital policies.
