Job summary
The Cooper Norcross Health PACU is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-anesthesia care to a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team on the third floor, coordinating care and ensuring safe recovery and discharge planning.
The ideal candidate has a valid NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, and preferably 1 year of critical care or PACU experience.
Qualifications
- 1 year of critical care experience or PACU preferred.
- Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
- NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS; PALS within 3 months.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to PACU patients using the nursing process.
- Supervise and coordinate care for a group of patients.
- Communicate clearly with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
- Adhere to Cooper core values and policies.
- Monitor patient recovery and discharge readiness.
