Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center in Longview, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process across the care continuum. You will coordinate with physicians and the care team to deliver high-quality outcomes in a compassionate environment.

The RN will administer medications, monitor patients, educate families, and participate in patient safety and improvement initiatives, with opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN license and Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process (assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare staff to ensure quality outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
