Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN - Registered Nurse licensure required and/or Compact State Licensure
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and policies.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatment, and discharge plans.
• Maintains infection control protocols and monitors equipment.
• Ensures safety and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of care.
