White Rock Medical Center in the Dallas area is seeking an experienced PACU RN to provide recovery nursing care for post-anesthesia patients after surgical procedures.

The role includes assessing patient condition, setting up and operating monitoring equipment, and coordinating care with the care team to meet safety and education needs. Strong communication with patients and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required.

Responsabilités

• Plans, organizes, and evaluates nursing care for postoperative patients.
• Uses nursing process to assess needs and update PACU plan.
• Delivers PACU care per ASPAN standards and unit policies.
• Communicates care plans with patient/family and significant others.
• Documents nursing care accurately in EMR for the team.
