Job summary

Eastern New Mexico Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with physicians, and uphold quality standards for patients and families.

The role spans multiple specialties including Critical Care, Emergency, OR, Cardiac, Obstetrics, Oncology, Orthopedics, PACU, NICU and Telemetry, with emphasis on safety, infection control, documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and state regulations followed.
• 0-2 years clinical nursing experience required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred certifications.
• BCLS/Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Assess patients and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Educate patients and families about plans and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and safe environment.
• Document care in medical records.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions.
