Job summary

Ortho Rhode Island is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to manage patient care from the operating room to discharge at the Warwick, RI facility. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and coordination of care with a focus on patient outcomes and adherence to Ortho Rhode Island policies.

The RN will monitor vital signs, document care, and ensure readiness for discharge while maintaining patient confidentiality and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RI State Licensure.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required.
• At least one year of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe patient care according to OrthoRI policy.
• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and ensures the implementation of the patient’s care to achieve identified outcome, and reviews on an ongoing basis.
• Coordinate nursing interventions to enhance achievement of expected outcomes and to ensure readiness for discharge.
• Demonstrates the proper discharge care per the OrthoRI guidelines.
• Complies with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
