OrthoVirginia Inc is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to support safe, comfortable recovery after anesthesia. You will monitor vitals, manage pain, and respond to changes in condition, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to ensure a smooth transition from surgery to recovery.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• Clinical experience in PACU, perioperative, critical care, or related acute-care setting.
• Knowledge of post-anesthesia assessment and pain management.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care throughout perioperative and post-anesthesia recovery.
• Closely monitor patients after surgery, including vitals and response to anesthesia.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to potential complications.
• Administer medications and implement pain management per physician orders.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
• Educate and reassure patients and families about recovery and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation while protecting patient privacy.
