Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to peri-operative patients including chart review, med administration, IVs, EKGs and catheterization.
• Initiates life-saving procedures and, when needed, performs CPR.
• Plans and implements nursing care for assigned patients and adjusts treatment with physician input.
• Reviews patient charts and ensures pre-op meds and orders are carried out.
• Maintains records and guides new nursing staff.
