Job summary

Atlantic Health System seeks a Registered Nurse for the PACU to collaborate with the care team in treating patients with varied injuries and illnesses. You will monitor patients, administer medications, document care, and coordinate with physicians to adjust plans as needed.

Ideal candidates hold NJ RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, with prior PACU or critical care experience preferred. Strong EMR skills, patient assessment, and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current NJ state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
