Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day-shift role. The RN will provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinate care with physicians and the healthcare team, and ensure safe, effective outcomes for patients and families.

The role requires 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations, an active RN license, and BCLS certification. ACLS/PALS may be preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure and active state credentialing required
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS/PALS preferred or as per facility policy

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care according to nursing process.
• Documents findings and reports changes in patient condition promptly.
• Provides age-appropriate care using knowledge of growth and development.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for adverse effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
