Job summary

Desert Valley Hospital in Southern California seeks a Registered Nurse for the perioperative suite. Per Diem status; Days shift; responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the operating room, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesia to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.

Required: valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS; minimum 1 year perioperative experience; CNOR and BSN preferred. Compensation around $54 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days and maintained.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist; guide the OR team.
• Maintain standards, participate in Performance Improvement activities and meetings.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

CNOR Certification (AORN) preferred
