Job summary

The RN Pre-op/PACU at United Surgical Partners International delivers quality perioperative care using the nursing process and organizational policies. You will provide safe, family-centered care in the Pre-op/PACU setting and support the mission and values of USPI.

Experienced in Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology specialties; reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU preferred.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, physicians, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality perioperative care using the nursing process and medical plan of care.
• Deliver safe, patient-family centered care in Pre-op/PACU settings.
• Support a range of specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry and Urology.
