Job summary

The role requires assisting physicians, supporting various surgical specialties, and providing total patient care as patients emerge from anesthesia, with discharge planning support.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in PACU or ICU.
• Current BLS and ALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders and maintain continuity/quality of nursing care.
• Monitor patient condition and ensure safety, comfort, and privacy; assist physicians when needed.
• Care for patients emerging from anesthesia and prepare for discharge.
