Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. seeks a motivated RN to join our Pre-Op/PACU team in a PRN role at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center ASC.

The RN will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care, support multiple specialties, and ensure patient-family centered care in a fast-paced ASC environment. The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted RN license, has 1–3 years in PreOP/PACU, and demonstrates strong aseptic technique and teamwork with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU.
• Prior ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative patient management.
• Aseptic technique knowledge and implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care using nursing process and care plans in perioperative services.
• Deliver safe, patient-family centered care in PreOP/PACU across populations.
• Support mission, vision, and values; report to Peri-Operative Services Manager.
• Provide care across specialties including General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Urology, ENT, Plastics, and more.
