Job summary

SCA Health in the United States is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role focuses on patient assessment, individualized care plans, and safe hand-offs to teammates to ensure quality outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active license, BLS/BCLS, ACLS; PALS if pediatric care is included; PACU experience preferred; specialty perioperative certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• PACU RN with hospital-based experience preferred.
• Active nursing license in good standing.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is part of the facility scope.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status throughout the episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Provide hand-off report to teammates with accurate, concise information.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
