Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to care for patients in the immediate post-operative period. You will monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status, respond to complications, provide wound care, and collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient stability during recovery.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current ACLS and BLS certifications within required timelines.
• RN with ADN/BSN or RN Diploma.
• Perioperative / PACU experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and manage on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the immediate post-operative period.
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status and respond to complications.
• Provide initial wound care and support patient stability during recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe care.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
